HP造就修电脑能手

我的hp笔记本一直在待机，早上打开笔记本，正常输入密码，然后鼠标键盘都没反应了，屏幕定在那里——死机了。关机再开，屏幕什么都没显示，硬盘灯也没亮，心想估计是跟上次同一个问题——内存松了。

好，打开后盖，把内存拔了再插紧，开机，问题如旧！折腾了好一会，突然想起前段时间帮lp的hp打客服的时候，客服让我试过一招似乎叫“downdrill”的东西，于是如法炮制：把内置电源拆下，在没内置与外接电源的情况下按住power键10秒钟，然后把电源装上，开机……

Go to :
1) System
2) Preferences
3) Keyboard (Tab: Mouse Keys)
4) Uncheck (Allow to control pointer using the keyboard).
This should fix the problem….!!

Swfdec is the reason why Yahoo can’t work on firefox, Ubuntu 9.04

Finally, I managed to figure out the problem of playing yahoo movie in Firefox on the lastest Ubuntu 9.04.
The symptom is:
I had already had mozilia-mplayer and vlc installed. Youtube can work smoothly. But somehow, the Yahoo movie failed to show me her pretty theatrical trailers.

I search around for days in google, tried everything I can see that might be helpful, but failed to have the yahoo movie work!
By chance, I right clicked on a flash that runs abnormally on yahoo(just appear for a second then disappear), selected About, I learned that the default SWF player firefox is using is Swfdec. So, I uninstal Swfdec-mozilla, and install flashplugin-installer(by Adobe), then…
WoW… Yahoo movie comes back to life!

Well, here is my conclusion, before, I already tried all kinds of flash plugins, including flashplugin-installer(by Adobe). But yahoo movie still can’t work, now I’ve learnt that this is becuase the default flash player is still there even though I installed other flash players. So, once I remove the default flash player for firefox THEN install a new one, firefox finally got a chance to run the newly installed flash plugin.
